Privacy Policy

We are pleased that you are interested in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. In the following, we inform you in detail about our handling of your data.
BBQ Kitchen GmbH, Welser Straße 33, 4614 Marchtrenk, is the data controller pursuant to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Please send an e-mail to office@bbq-kitchen.com if you have any questions concerning data protection.
Storage of access data in server log files
You may visit our websites without disclosing any details about yourself. We store access data only in so-called server log files, such as the name of the requested file, the date and time of the call-off, the amount of transferred data and the requesting provider. This data is exclusively used to ensure smooth website operation and to improve our offer; this does not allow us to draw any conclusions about you personally.
Data collection and use for contract processing and opening customer accounts
We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide this to us as a part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via the contact form or by e-mail) or when opening a customer account. The respective input form indicates what data is collected. We use the data you provided to process contracts and your requests. After fully processing the contract or closing your customer account, we block your data to prevent its continued use and we erase such data at the end of any retention periods in terms of tax and commercial law, unless you explicitly consented to further use of your data or we reserved the right to continue processing your data to the extent permitted by law; in this case, we will inform you accordingly. Your customer account can be deleted at any time, either by sending a message to the below contact data or by using a function provided for this in your customer account.
Data transfer for contractual performance
For performing a contract, we transmit your data to the shipping company commissioned to make the delivery, insofar as this is necessary in order to deliver the ordered products. Depending on which payment service provider you selected in the ordering process, we transfer payment data collected for this purpose to the financial institution which handles the payment process and, if necessary, to the payment service provider(s) we commissioned or you selected. The chosen payment service provider occasionally collects this data itself if you have opened an account at the said institution. In this case, you must disclose your access data when registering with the payment service. Here, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
Use of data upon subscription to the e-mail newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you in order to send to you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis, in accordance with your consent. Unsubscription from the newsletter is possible at any time, either by sending a message to the below contact data or by using a link provided for this in the newsletter.
Use of cookies
To make the visit to our website more attractive and to enable certain features, we use so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your terminal. Some of the cookies we utilise are erased at the end of the browser session, in other words after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal and allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Your browser can be set to inform you whenever cookies are stored, to allow acceptance of certain cookies only, to allow cookies in certain cases, or to refuse them outright. If cookies are rejected, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods enabling an analysis of how you use the website, such as so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer. Information generated this way on how you use this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened prior to transmission within the European Union Member States or to other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to and shortened on a Google server. The anonymised IP address which your browser transmitted in connection with Google Analytics will not be merged with any other Google data.

You can prevent the collection of the data created by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
As an alternative to using the browser plug-in, you can click on this link to prevent Goole Analytics from collecting your data on this website. An opt-out cookie will then be stored on your terminal. If you delete your cookies, you must click on the link again.
Use of AddThis plug-ins (e.g. “Share” buttons)
Our website uses so-called social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) of AddThis, a bookmarking service, which is operated by AddThis, LLC, Inc. 8000 Westpark Drive, Suite 625, McLean, VA 2210, United States (“AddThis”). The plug-ins are usually marked with an “AddThis” logo, for example in the form of a white plus sign on an orange background. For an overview of the “AddThis” plug-ins and their appearance, please refer to: https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing

If you access one of our webpages which includes such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the AddThis servers. The contents of the plug-in are transferred directly to your browser by AddThis and integrated into the page. Thanks to this integration, AddThis is informed that your browser called off the corresponding webpage and stores a cookie on your terminal to identify your browser. Your browser transfers to and stores this information (including your IP address) on AddThis server in the United States. AddThis uses the data to create anonymised user profiles which serve as a basis for providing visitors of websites using AddThis plug-ins with personalised and interest-based advertising.

Information on the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use by AddThis is included in the AddThis Privacy Policy available at http://www.addthis.com/privacy/privacy-policy

If you want to object to data collection by AddThis in the future, you can set a so-called “opt-out cookie”, which you can download at the following link: http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out. You can also fully prevent the AddThis plug-ins from being loaded by installing add-ons for your browser, e.g. the script blocker service “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).
